I am a single, divorced female living in a not so safe world. When I tell you what brought me to this line of business you will understand why I feel it is of paramount importance for everyone of us to gird up and protect ourselves... especially women.

There is no safe place. In our homes, our husbands abuse us. In the good streets the bad come, because they know the valuables are there. In the bad streets, we live among them.

Having been personally subjected to domestic abuse, date rape, and home theft in my life, I finally took the initiative to arm myself and fight back.

An astounding 99% or more women,( in a personal survey, over a course of 18 month time frame) answered unequivocably "no" to the question "Do you carry ANYTHING at all to protect yourself?"

Knowing this one thing, if WE know we are target to being a victim, because we arent armed. then also the one who lurks in parking garages, parking lots, abandoned alleyways and hallways is absolutely banking on the that as well.

The days of not looking over our shoulder, not locking our doors,and letting our children out of our site are now over.

No victim of violence wakes up in the morning and says to themselves, "I am going to be raped, shot, murdered, or abused today." It happens when least expected. We carry automobile insurance in case of an unexpceted accident. We dont want to use it but we make sure we have it. So it is and has become with self protective devices. In today's world, it is not a matter of IF but more a matter of when.

I realized that I am the only one who ultimately is responsible for my own safety on a day to day practical basis.

My mission is to make men and women realize this too.
